Thanks to all club directors, who gathered in the Twin Cities to experience the great hospitality of our Minnesota CVBs and DMOs. The enthusiasm generated by great sessions and presenters, excellent food, and fun experiences across Minnesota was exciting to feel.
Our wonderful partners in this conference are the eight terrific Preferred Tour Operators, who showed charming destinations and sponsored great activities. The super group of destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and suppliers who participated in the new EXPO (updated name for the Shared Showcase) on Friday morning made us all excited for the wonderful experiences we can provide for our club members.
Karl and Jan Knock, owners and leaders of Karla Hynes’ Iowa State Savings Bank in Creston IA brought the important banking message on making our clubs serve the banking need for our most important retail banking customers. It makes us all proud to be a part of the community banking scene.
On a personal note, it was a real pleasure to join Amy Countryman, our wonderful Administrative Director, in her first Peer Group meeting on her home turf. She is bringing outstanding change to our association, including this newsletter, our new website, and general excitement for the work of bank clubs. Feel free to call on Amy for any questions or needs, and you will be pleased with her response.
