HCI Travel Protection Plan

Looking for an easy and affordable travel protection plan that you can feel confident about offering  to your travelers?  See why more than 55 Bank Clubs are using this exceptional plan to add value and goodwill at no cost to them!   It’s easy and can be done in one of two ways:

  • The Heritage Clubs Travel Protection Plan is priced at a net rate well below what your clients would pay for similar coverage from Tour Operators, Cruise Lines and Travel Agents.   You can offer this low-priced product to your clients at cost.  A number of Clubs are doing this because it adds value and holds down trip costs.
  • Or, if you want to make a profit on the Heritage Clubs Travel Protection Plan, you can.  Just mark up the net rate slightly to realize a profit -- and still be less expensive than similar insurance.

Heritage Clubs Members can start using this plan today - find out more details

Here is what our Heritage Clubs directors are saying about this plan:

Alice Tatro

"It is very simple to use and the forms are not hard to fill out."

UPDATE JANUARY 2011:

Dear Club Directors –

Effective January 10, 2011, the Heritage Clubs International Travel Protection Plan will be underwritten by Arch Insurance Company, and administered by Travel Insured International.  The new plan represents a continuation of the same good value, with some added improvements.  For example, you will be able to mix and match coverage (Standard Plan vs. Cancel for Any Reason) within a group, so that all travelers are not required to have identical plans.

Here is how the transition to the new Travel Protection Plan will work:

If you have any groups that have been formed prior to January 1, 2011 using the online system under the Travel Protection Plan administered by Trip Mate, you can continue to add travelers to that group and the Trip Mate plan will remain in place until those groups have completed their trips.

If you have collected any premium from travelers in any group prior to January 10, 2011, you should continue using the Trip Mate Plan for that group; and if you have not created the group online, you should do so IMMEDIATELY. The deadline for creating such a group with Trip Mate is midnight on Sunday, January 09, 2011. As long as the group is created online by the deadline, additional travelers can be added online in the usual manner. Visit www.spibrokers.com/Heritage to login to the Trip Mate plan.

Beginning on January 10, 2011, Trip Mate will no longer accept any groups formed on or after that date, and you must use the new Travel Protection Plan (Administered by Travel Insured International).

If you have a group for which no premium has been received by you, you must use the new Travel Protection Plan for such a group.

New groups can be created under the new Travel Protection Plan starting on January 10, 2011.

To create a group under the new Travel Protection Plan, you will not be using a web-based data-entry system.  Instead, you simply download a blank Manifest from the Internet, complete it, and return it to Amy Countryman along with your premium payment.  For more information and to download a copy of the blank Manifest, please visit www.spibrokers.com/Heritage.
